FAQ

STORE FAQ

I always seem to miss out on your poster sales when they drop at random times, and my attempt to make Minority Report-type precognitive technologies have hit a dead end, is there any way that you can tell me exactly when you are putting items up for sale?
The philosophical implications of free will and predetermination aside, dropping posters at a random time is really the best way to go because it more or less puts everyone on an even playing field. If I were to offer special treatment to certain people, that's not much of an even playing field. That being said, I typically announce when an item will drop several minutes before I actually drop it on my facebook and twitter.
Can I order multiples items at once? What about combining separate orders that are being shipped to the same address?
Yes, you can order multiple items (I strongly encourage it!) from my store. Just keep adding them to your cart and it will allow you to pay for them all at once. Orders get shipped as we receive them, so orders get shipped in separate tubes even to the same address. It just makes record-keeping simpler.
I gave you the wrong address, can I change it?
As a consumer it's your responsibility to provide an address that is current and in the proper format for delivering parcels. If you provided an old address and the poster has already shipped, perhaps it's best to get in contact with the person who is at that address to see if you can have it forwarded.

If you provided an address that is undeliverable, we'll have to wait until the package is delivered back to me. At that point you can either get a refund (minus shipping cost) or pay the shipping cost again to have it sent to your correct address. Any address deemed by the post office to be undeliverable will result in a nonrefundable shipping cost.

If the product hasn't shipped, then your entire purchase will be refunded to you and you may have the option to purchase that item again if it's still available.
How much is shipping?
Shipping anywhere in the United States is $7.00 and International shipping is $12.00. When it comes to International shipping, all posters are labeled as "Limited Edition Screen Printed Artwork" on the customs forms, but the full value is declared. This is necessary to protect myself as well as you, the buyer. Purchases exceeding $100.00 are insured at no cost to the buyer.
On the item I'd like to buy there is no purchase button...how does this affect my plans to purchase this item? What if there is a sold out button?
Anything that is for sale will have a purchase button next to it. Occasionally, I create artwork that I do not sell. In the event of a sold out button, it simply means that my available inventory of that item has been exhausted, meaning that I have no more to sell. Please do not ask if I will sell you something that is labeled as "sold out." Under no circumstances will I reprint anything, and under no circumstances will I give you a high resolution digital file so that you can "print" one for yourself. On a lighter note, I have been known to save sold out prints EXCLUSIVELY for people who come to my booth at live events. I post schedules of my live events in my blog.
I love your work, but I've developed a recent phobia to posters, what is your return/refund/replacement policy?
Returns are only available on items that have not shipped. If and when the package arrives, should the item be damaged/the wrong item/the wrong quantity a refund/replacement is possible if you notify me within 48 hours of receiving the package. Be sure to keep the original packaging and the invoice. Replacements are only possible if the item is still available. If not, a refund will be offered.
What type of conditions should I expect of the products I order from your store?
Everything you order from my store should arrive in good condition, meaning no major damages and as described on my website. This being said, the nature of screen printing means that the poster must be handled by many people in order to make and sell it. Major damage is damage that dramatically affects the image of the art (tears, creases, etc.). This does not include minor wear on the back and edges/corners, essentially things that don't show when the poster is framed. While all precautions are taken, some wear simply cannot be avoided.

Then there is the issue of misprinting. Screen printing is a process that's done by hand and every print is going to be unique in terms of print distress and registration. However, every print is inspected carefully by me. Major misprints are considered blotches, fingerprints, and any other printing marks that greatly differ from the images presented on my site.

If you suspect that your print has damages or misprints that fall under these parameters and you would like a refund/replacement you must notify me within 48 hours upon receiving your order. Be sure to maintain the original packaging and invoice. Damage by postal carrier will be dealt with on a case to case basis.
Do you charge sales tax?
I only charge California sales tax.
My nomadic merchant family of privateers and I are still on the gold doubloon system, what forms of payment do you take?
When making purchases from my online store, you are more than welcome to use credit cards or paypal (if you have an account). Any and all E-Check orders where the payments are not immediately verified will be refunded immediately. Please do not send E-Checks. In the event that you are picking up an order, cash and credit cards are accepted. Checks (personal or business) are not accepted. See Shipping FAQ for more information on pick-ups.
Are all prints signed by you (or at least someone who looks like you)? Are all prints numbered?
Yes, all limited edition prints purchased from my online store are signed by me. Any limited edition print that I do should be numbered with the edition size. The signature and numbers are typically in the lower right hand corner.
During a sale I successfully added an item to my cart just before embarking on a rascal scooter race around the world, but when I returned the item was sold out. How could this happen?
In order to give everyone a fair chance of getting the item, no sale is final until payment has been processed. The cart is simply there for your convenience so that you may be able to purchase multiple items and to review your order and quantities before checkout. Good luck on that rascal scooter race.
Is there a limit to quantities that I can purchase from your store?
Any quantity limits will be listed in the sales description when you hit the purchase button.
