THE WEBSITE IS FINALLY UP!

July 2008
The hard work paid off. I am very happy with the way this site came out and I can't wait to hear feedback. With the exception of my online store, the website is fully up and running. This is all new for me, so let me know your thoughts and suggestions. I plan to let people know what's going on with me and/or cover topics of interest, such as upcoming events, illustration resources, etc through this handy newsletter. If you'd like to subscribe to this newsletter, please email me at colt83@gmail.com and let me know.

ANOTHER DAY, POTENTIALLY ANOTHER DOLLAR.

July 2008
Currently I am working on album art for Drop Dead Genius' new album. The band is cool and their site is awesome. A huge step for me is that I have been covertly illustrating a clothing line for a T-Shirt company. The whole line will be my artwork, so expect to see eight new T-Shirt Designs from me in a fresh new style. Fourth World Clothing just released another shirt that I illustrated called Deadly Tools. I am also recently finished art for a major motion picture coming out soon. Busy. busy.

DID YOU see ME in Elle Girl Korea?

July 2008
That's right, I got to be part of an article in their notable publication. If you can read Korean, please help me because I don't know what they said about me.

ANOTHER CHANCE TO MINGLE WITH SCENESTERS (ewwwwwwww)

July 2008

Art galleries are a harlequin fling that I engage in, mainly to socialize. Well, if you like art shows, you're in luck. I am in two shows coming up. The Phone Booth Gallery's Eggs and Sausage Show at House of Hayden. The show is dedicated to Tom Waits. I made a screen printed poster that both promotes the show and is my exhibited work. After that, I will have work in the widely attended I AM 8 BIT Show at the World of Wonder Gallery, where I had my Houdini print up. The show embraces old 8 bit video games like Super Mario Bros. I hope to see you there.

LET'S BE FRIENDS
July 2008
Los Angeles is a very isolating town. The loneliest city in the world some say. I enjoy working in public, especially if I am with another illustrator. My entire children's book The Earth Machine was drawn and inked at a Starbucks in Long Beach for instance. It sounds strange, but I like working in restuarants, cafes, bookstores, and airplane lavatories. If any of you feel the same, let's draw in public together! Drop me a line.
